With Elden Ring set to release on Feb 24th, we now have the Elden Ring review embargo details to share with you.

The review embargo for Elden Ring is set for February 23rd at 7:00 a.m. PDT. Head over to the Elden Ring page after that time for all of the latest Elden Ring reviews from outlets!

Elden Ring is the latest game from FromSoftware Inc, the creators of games such as critically-acclaimed Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne. An all-new souls-like, players are thrust into a fresh open world with wide fields and dungeons to explore. The title, which author George RR Martin worked on the lore for, is much anticipated from players around the world looking to jump into a new souls-like experience.

A number of outlets have released previews ahead of launch, which you can read below:

  • IGN - "There’s way more forgiveness to find out what works best for you without having to spend time grinding."
  • NME - "The resulting game is the “usual” FromSoftware title gone wild, amped up on player freedom and teeming with possibility – and I can’t wait to go back."
  • Eurogamer - "There's difficulty and challenge here, yes, but there's also the promise that you can and will overcome it, however you wish. Freedom. Great and terrible freedom."
  • VGC - "From's Open-World Debut has an incredible legacy to live up to, but it feels like it might just do it"
  • GamesRadar - "It also might be one of the most approachable FromSoftware games, though that's obviously a massively qualified statement with a thousand asterisks hanging off the end like a string of cheap tinsel."
  • TheGamer - "Not since Breath of the Wild has an open world experience offered such freedom for discovery and experimentation, except Elden Ring is so much darker and more challenging, teasing a vision that all but guarantees to be masterful."

Elden Ring releases on February 24th, 2022 for PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X. Players who purchase the game on Playstation 4 will get a free Playstation 5 Upgrade.
