Code Violet Devs Take A Break From Arguing On Twitter To Drop Another Patch Full Of Bug Fixes

Code Violet's launch is not going particularly well. Launching to poor reviews from both fans and critics alike, many are complaining about the gameplay and bugs they've encountered, and are calling for refunds.

In response, Code Violet developer TeamKill Media has been in damage control mode, but has only really caused more damage. Whether it's fighting with players on Twitter or allegedly copyright-striking negative reviews, little has been done to shift public opinion. So, the devs will likely be hoping that this patch does just that.

Version 1.000.026 is the second post-launch update for Code Violet, and rolls out some bug fixes and further adjustments to the game. This includes issues with using an antidote, problems with the combat, and even instances of players getting locked and unable to continue.

On top of that, it should also be clearer when you are taking damage, and the camera shouldn't clip behind something and get stuck. There's now also a film grain option and customisable motion blur.

We'll have to see if these patches are enough to stop the negative user reviews rolling in, but it doesn't look like that's happening anytime soon.
