When Tom Clancy's The Division 2 kicks off, it is seven years after the Strain devastated New York City and the rest of the United States. It's finally dying out, but its effects are felt in the splintering of the country, most keenly felt in Washington D.C.
Players as Agents enter in the fight for the rebuilding of the city and the society as rival gangs and other groups seek to fracture the nation completely.
As for gameplay, players will need to bring their best selves forward to choose the right tactical abilities and style that best suits them. On the completion of the leveling process, Agents will be able to further specialize by choosing a signature weapon that compliments all of an Agent's gear and includes special versions of known skills.
In addition, endgame players will be thrilled to hear that RAIDS are coming to The Division 2!
Lastly, and maybe most excitingly, the Year One development plan includes three DLC that will bring new story, new areas to explore and new activities in which to participate. Best of all? All three are free to ALL players!
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be out on March 15, 2019.
