Earlier today, we reported on the dour news that The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time's in-development remake has been unceremoniously axed. Which is to say, canceled. What's more, five further games are said to have met a similar fate, and others have been delayed.

No matter how you slice it, the long-desired sequel has taken a veritable eternity — even by today's ever-increasing standards.
Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson, himself something of a leading name for industry rumours galore, claims to have heard from his own source that Beyond Good & Evil 2 escaped unscathed.
