Despite Being A "Really Central" Part Of Fable, The New Game Won't Morph Your Look Based On Your Morality

Even though Playground Games acknowledges that morality morphing was a "central part" of the original Fable trilogy, it won't be featured at all in the new game.

Last night, Xbox's Developer Direct finally gave us our first proper look at Fable after nearly six years since it was originally announced. It's been a long time coming, but almost everything that Playground Games showed suggested that it's going to be more than worth the wait and a worthy successor to Lionhead's beloved trilogy.

One of the most interesting things that was highlighted in the showcase was the new morality system, which no longer views things as good and evil. It's basically more like traits that get developed over time which, while very cool, had some fans worried that the classic morality morphing system wouldn't be a part of the new game. Sadly, that's exactly the case.

Following Fable's big debut at the Developer Direct, IGN had the chance to sit down with Playground Games founder and general manager Ralph Fulton to talk about everything that was shown. Fulton is asked about the new mortality system, and whether it'll affect the player's appearance like it did in the original games.
