Earlier this week, Game Freak gave us an in-depth look at Beast of Reincarnation, and it's easily the most ambitious game that the studio has ever produced. Not only is it the most graphically demanding, but its combat seems to splice real-time action with turn-based elements, almost akin to the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series. It looks pretty cool, but does it run well?
Understandably, Game Freak has a bit of an earned reputation for releasing rather half-baked games. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet was near enough a train wreck when it launched, rife with frame rate and technical problems, and the other mainline Pokemon games on Nintendo Switch haven't exactly fared much better. They've given Game Freak a reputation for shoddiness, and with Beast of Reincarnation looking as ambitious as it does, there are very reasonable concerns that it will run terribly when it launches this Summer.
