Assassin's Creed Odyssey is looking to up the ante on the already stellar Origins released last year. Not only is the new RPG going to have branching dialog trees, romances, and more - it's also going to let you tame some animals to have them fight next to you in combat. A la Far Cry Primal, PCGamesN is reporting that there's a skill in the character trees that allows this:

The description of the Beast Master skill reads that it allows players to “tame knocked out wolves. Only one wild animal can be tamed at a time.” Now, we haven’t seen the skill in action, so I can only guess at exactly what it does, but there are a few hints on offer. We know from a different ability, Arrow Master, that you can craft paralyzing arrows to knock out targets instead of killing them.

Numerous outlets are also reporting that you can now take Leaps of Faith from lots of places, and don't need bales of hay to survive anymore. In a series that keeps veering further and further towards total player freedom, this is just icing on the cake.
