Mortal Kombat 1 has finally confirmed the rumours that Takeda Takahashi isn't Kenshi's son in Liu Kang's timeline, as his bio says that the two are actually cousins.
While it's true that Mortal Kombat 1 didn't exactly have the launch that most fans were hoping for, things have certainly improved over the last year. One of the main reasons for this is because of all the DLC fighters we've got, from Homelander and Omni-Man to Ermac and Quan-Chi. The most exciting of all, though, is the return of Mortal Kombat X's best character, Takeda Takahashi.

As great as it is to see Takeda in Mortal Kombat 1, ever since he was confirmed to be part of the Kombat Pack, fans have had some big questions about his involvement in the new timeline. Would he be a time-traveller? Has he been aged up from his appearance in MKX? Is he even the same Takeda we knew from his debut?
