Nintendo has announced a new Joy-Con charging stand for the Switch. The newly unveiled Switch accessory will hit the store shelves ahead of the 2024 holiday season.

The Switch has received a wide variety of accessories over the years. But with the hybrid console currently being in the twilight of its life cycle, not many new products of that sort are still being announced nowadays.

The Nintendo Switch's library is vast and constantly growing. Here is every major new Switch game releasing in 2024 or beyond.

Be that as it may, Nintendo has just unveiled one such offering in the form of yet another controller charger. Officially called the Joy-Con Charging Stand (Two-Way), the device is the first-ever first-party power dock designed to accept a single pair of Switch Joy-Cons. The gadget is scheduled for release on October 17, although its full list of target markets has yet to be confirmed. Nintendo has historically treated such first-party accessories to global releases, offering them in the vast majority of markets in which the Switch itself is officially available for purchase.
