Halo TV Series Canceled by Paramount+, But There is Hope for a Season 3

Paramount+ has not ordered a third season of its Halo TV series, but there may still be hope for the next season regardless. Most of the time, new installments in the Halo franchise are hits regardless of their medium, including the books, which fans have shown lots of love for in the past. Not every iteration of Halo is a winner, though. This has been the case with the controversial releases of Halo 4 and 5, and concern appears to be growing that Halo is overextending itself.

It appears the Halo franchise has been in some turmoil lately. One of the biggest parts of the series' legacy is now gone after the closure of Axis Studios. Axis was a Scottish animation studio that worked on plenty of cinematics across the Halo series, including Halo Infinite's opening cinematic. It also produced cutscenes within plenty of Destiny 2's expansions. There appear to be more losses around the corner for Halo.
