Xbox Game Pass has added Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a new day-one title from Capcom, to its content library. This is the 11th game to reach Microsoft's subscription service in July 2024, and the 95th Xbox Game Pass release since the turn of the year.
Capcom originally announced Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess in June 2023, having immediately labeled it as a day-one addition to the XGP library. Its title literally translates to "great deity of the Earth" or "great god of the land," which is a reflection of its Japanese folklore inspirations. The game itself is a unique genre hybrid that features hack-and-slash action, strategy, and tower defense mechanics.
