Dead by Daylight's popular 2v8 mode is coming back in late April 2026 alongside the return of Attack on Titan crossover content. Per the usual, the special 2v8 mode in Dead by Daylight will only be available to play for a few weeks, but players should be able to dive back into it starting on April 28.
A standard game of Dead by Daylight is held with five players, with four assuming the roles of Survivors who are trying to operate generators to escape the Trial Grounds and one becoming the Killer who is out to stop them by any means necessary. The first instance of a 2v8 mode in Dead by Daylight, which features two Killers hunting down eight Survivors, was held in July 2024, and the double-sized game mode has proven itself popular with fans each time the team at Behaviour Interactive has brought it back for a limited time.
Dead by Daylight has over 40 Killers, and these characters are currently the best in the game.
