Considered to be FromSoftware's magnum opus, Elden Ring has taken the world by storm since its release back in 2022. Directed by FromSoftware hero Hidetaka Miyazaki with worldbuilding from none other than A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin, Elden Ring has cemented itself as a modern-day classic, going on to inspire a hit DLC, roguelike spin-off, and even an upcoming live-action movie.
Whether it is your favorite FromSoftware entry when titles such as Dark Souls and Bloodborne exist is open to interpretation, but there is no denying Elden Ring's cultural impact, which is why some fans are eager to see a sequel released in the future. According to Miyazaki himself, he has still not created his "perfect game", so does this mean that Elden Ring 2 could be it?
