You can never keep the Halo series down. Even if Halo Infinite wasn't as big as Microsoft wanted it to be, fans are still waiting for the next iteration. If Microsoft announced Halo 7 in the next few months, a ton of hype would pop up overnight, and the cycle would begin completely anew for this decades-old franchise.

Eagle-eyed fans will pore over all the lore material and the teaser to see how it links into the overall series lore, and they'll want to see map designs for multiplayer as soon as possible. There are a ton of different Halo fans out there, but multiplayer generally keeps the games in the public eye longer.

Despite waxing and waning periods of popularity, Halo will always generate a ton of buzz, even just by name alone. In the same vein, on X, fans are discussing a leak about multiple new remakes (via ResetEra).

According to the leak, Rebs Gaming claims that multiple sources have informed them that Halo 2 and Halo 3 Remakes are allegedly in the works. Framed around the 2004 and 2007 releases on the Xbox and Xbox 360, respectively, we don't have a ton of concrete details...
