First released way back in 1997 as the seventh main installment in the beloved Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy 7 was met with widespread acclaim, and now widely regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time. Thanks to its success, it is perhaps no wonder that Square Enix revealed that it would be remaking Final Fantasy 7 by rereleasing the beloved title across a series of three games. Kicking off back in 2020 with the launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake, it was soon followed by Final Fantasy VI Rebirth in 2024, but fans are still waiting to hear when they can expect the third and final installment.
