It's been a long and stressful journey for Grand Theft Auto 6 fans up to this point, but most gamers are finally in the home stretch with the game's release officially slated for November this year. However, there are millions of players who have been praying for a miracle, with GTA 6's release expected to be delayed well beyond the official launch date later this year for PC gamers.

Based on Rockstar's history of console-first releases and the lack of an official release date announcement for PC, affected gamers have already been facing down the reality that it could be a long wait. That said, there's been a faint glimmer of hope that we may get a surprise PC release sooner than expected.

Unfortunately, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has officially confirmed the worst in a recent interview with Bloomberg, indicating that a PC release is being intentionally delayed past November as a marketing strategy focused on serving GTA 6's "core audience" first (via IGN).
