ARC Raiders has announced another round of regional pricing adjustments that are live now. Embark Studios' extraction shooter has reduced its cost before, previously lowering its entry point across 15 regions ahead of its launch. The significant difference is that ARC Raiders' latest announcement is a pricing rebalance, which means that some regions are now paying less while others will have higher prices.
Regional pricing is a common practice where a game's cost is adjusted based on the purchasing power of a player's market, rather than converting its base price into another currency. While ARC Raiders previously implemented regional pricing, some regions were left out of the price adjustments. In particular, players from Turkey, Argentina, and Latin America have long been campaigning for fairer prices on Steam forums and community threads.
