Grand Theft Auto Devs Reveal Brand New Game Based on Kaijus

Beastlink is a brand new 32-person multiplayer game where players—as humans, in vehicles, or as colossal Kaiju—do battle in fully destructible cities, and it's coming from developers who most recently worked on Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Namely, it's coming from the studio Grove Street Games, which has primarily worked on ports of Rockstar's games since 2011.

Right now, of course, many fans are eagerly awaiting any news on the newest entry in the franchise, Grand Theft Auto 6. Because its initial release date was later this month and Rockstar parent company Take-Two has an earnings call slated for May 21, fans think GTA 6 Trailer 3 could drop any day now. That remains to be seen, but given the experience Grove Street Games has (even considering its critically panned GTA Trilogy - Definitive Edition port), Beastlink is still something worth watching.
