Following the remake of Resident Evil 4 and the release of the franchise’s ninth mainline installment, Resident Evil is in its zenith right now and has an incredibly bright future. From here on out, Resident Evil remake rumors will persist regarding nearly every entry that has yet to be remade, and there could be validity to any of these rumors based on Capcom's apparent willingness to continue remaking games in the series.

A remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica would seem all but officially confirmed due to how many rumors claim that it is legitimate, and the latest rumor added to the pile implies that its announcement/reveal could be a month away.
