Elden Ring Officially Getting Final DLC, But Gamers Are Torn

Since its launch back in 2022, Elden Ring has taken the world by storm, with many considering it to be FromSoftware's magnum opus. This is high praise indeed, considering it is the studio behind the likes of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but there is no denying that there is something special about Elden Ring. Since its release, it has gone on to inspire multiple other projects, including its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Elden Ring Nightreign roguelike spin-off, and even an upcoming live-action movie adaptation. Put simply, Elden Ring has become a cultural phenomenon, and it shows no signs of slowing down.

Following the success of Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, many fans have been hoping that the story will continue in another story expansion. However, with FromSoftware seemingly turning its attention to other projects, such as the upcoming The Duskbloods, there is indeed another official Elden Ring release to look forward to.
