PlayStation Plus just dropped its slate of free monthly games for May, officially available now, which include several excellent new additions that subscribers can check out completely for free. While free games on PS Plus can be removed and made unavailable at any time, free monthly releases can be downloaded and kept in your game library forever, as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus membership.
The May lineup includes some incredible new titles, such as Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, which is arguably the best soulslike game of 2025 and well worth picking up if you're a fan of the genre, as well as another top-tier soulslike, Nine Sols, which features "Sekiro-like" gameplay mechanics in a 2D puzzle-platformer adventure.
There's also one excellent new addition to the May PS Plus slate of games if you're a sports fan with EA Sports FC 26, which is available to download and keep now. And as an incredible bonus freebie, PS Plus just snuck in another EA Sports FC 26 download that you can claim for free, with the PlayStation Plus ICONS Pack (via PS).
