If you're tired of waiting for Red Dead Redemption 3, you can get your fix with an upcoming Steam game right now. Ever since Red Dead Redemption 2 came out in 2018, fans have been hoping for a followup. Recently, Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser teased that the studio might turn their attention to a third game for the franchise, once GTA 6 is out of the way.
This is both great and terrible news. On one hand, it means that Red Dead Redemption 3 will probably happen sometime in the future. On the other hand, GTA 6 isn't scheduled for release until November 19, 2026. If Rockstar doesn't begin development on the game until then, it might be years before we see a glimpse of the beloved open-world Western RPG.
