Mina The Hollower Announces 'True' Final Release Date

The highly anticipated indie title Mina the Hollower will finally arrive in the last week of May, according to social media posts from developer Yacht Club Games. Barring any further delays, the imminent launch of Mina the Hollower will come nearly four years after the game was first revealed.

Mina the Hollower is an action-focused game inspired by past titles from The Legend of Zelda series, such as the Oracle duology and Link's Awakening. The top-down perspective gameplay is further tempered by Soulslike gameplay to add a degree of punishing but satisfying challenge to the game's encounters. Billed by developer Yacht Club Games as a love letter to the Game Boy era, Mina the Hollower's 8-bit art style and Victorian Gothic horror inspirations make it one of the more unique indie titles arriving this year.

As other gaming systems get more expensive, Nintendo Switch 2 remains at launch price, but shareholders are apparently pushing for an increase.
