Star Wars: The Force Unleashed took the world completely by surprise. It helped that LucasArts gave the game a huge push, releasing it on pretty much every platform under the sun, combining it with other forms of multimedia-based storytelling.
Given that Force Unleashed was steeped in the politics and narrative of the original Star Wars trilogy, it garnered a ton of renewed interest in Star Wars as a whole, just several years after the release of Revenge of the Sith. Giving players direct control of Darth Vader's apprentice was a stroke of genius, as it created a ton of buzz before the game even released. It went on to sell a ton of copies and even led to a sequel two years later.
That buzz hasn't died down over a decade later. On X, fans are celebrating an enhanced version of the game that still keeps the original's magic fully intact. In fact, some are even hopeful that we could see a sequel at some point.
As folks have been pointing out, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed runs well on current-generation systems, even though it's ostensibly an older game. Here is everything you can expect from an older version...
