It's hard to believe that Final Fantasy 10 is officially turning 25 years old this year, but Square Enix is kicking things off in a big way, launching a dedicated FFX 25th Anniversary website with several exciting upcoming releases planned throughout the remainder of 2026.

Final Fantasy 10 (and to a lesser extent FFX-2) has been a fan-favorite entry in the franchise since its launch back in 2001, and aside from Final Fantasy 9, is among the top candidates for a modern remake overhaul akin to the ongoing Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy. Despite there being no official announcement on a surprise 25th-anniversary remake/remaster for FFX, fans will no doubt keep their fingers crossed for the rest of the year.

However, there is one official Final Fantasy 10 release that will be available later this year from Square Enix, set to arrive on Wednesday, July 1 (via FFX25).
