Warner Bros. Games and TT Games today dropped the launch trailer for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, highlighting the rich history the game pulls from.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was a massive undertaking for TT Games. An amalgamation of all 9 mainline Star Wars films combined with a new engine and revamped gameplay, the game was the largest LEGO game yet. For it's next title, TT Games would need a property that rivals the scale of Star Wars, a property that encompasses just as many films, TV shows, games, and comics. As such, it's no surprise that Batman was chosen.
