30 years ago, one of the greatest JRPG franchises of all time officially began when the Shin Megami Tensei spin-off, Persona, released for the original PlayStation. Three decades later, Persona has evolved considerably while becoming one of the most popular video game series in the world. Persona owes much of its modern success to the Social Link and calendar systems Persona 3 added to the franchise, but every game in the series is a top-tier RPG worth playing.
In honor of Persona's 30th anniversary, iam8bit and ATLUS have teamed up with The Big Blueshift Band to remix the best music from the original Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4, and Persona 5. The Persona 30th Anniversary Jazz Album is an eight-track celebration of the iconic soundtrack that's made fans worldwide fall (and stay) in love with the Persona universe.
