Since its release back in 2020, there is no denying that, despite its rocky launch, Cyberpunk 2077 has cemented itself as one of the greatest video games of all time. Not only did CD Projekt RED offer us an RPG experience like any other, but the studio proved it was far from a fluke when it launched Cyberpunk 2077's first and only DLC, Phantom Liberty, back in 2023.

Selling over 10 million copies since launch and introducing a whole new legion of fans to the dystopian RPG, Phantom Liberty itself is regarded as one of the best DLCs of all time, with our very own Screen Rant review calling it "electrifying, emotional, and full of twists."

Where the base game may have initially failed to keep its word, Phantom Liberty delivers. Fans of Night City have plenty to look forward to; between relieving quality-of-life improvements, fresh ways to experience Night City, and a story that'll have players questioning their own values, it embodies all of Cyberpunk 2077's good, and almost none of it is bad.
