Bloodborne is hands-down the most requested FromSoftware reboot of all time, and rightly so, featuring incredibly unique world-building, gameplay, combat, and unmatched storytelling. While FromSoft has clearly put out plenty of successful and genre-defining bangers such as Sekiro, Elden Ring, etc., since Bloodborne's release back in 2015, there's arguably no game out there with as high demand for a remake, remaster, or (god willing) an official sequel.
Earlier this year, chances for an official Bloodborne remake dwindled after Sony closed down Bluepoint Studios, the developers behind the Demon's Souls remake that helped kick off the PlayStation 5's debut. This wasn't seen as a loss for all Bloodborne enthusiasts, however, and despite Demon's Souls' commercial success, hardcore FromSoft fans (and allegedly developers at FromSoft themselves) were not happy about decisions made in the Demon's Souls remake.
Ultimately, the future of Bloodborne is still up in the air at this point, with no official word on a remake or remaster, but fans of the iconic Soulsborne entry will want to mark their calendars for August this year for the brand-new release of Bloodborne: Ring of Madman's Knowledge (via X).
Bloodborne is getting an officially licensed new release...
