Since The Witcher 4 was first announced back in 2024, rumors have begun to circulate about a potential The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC which could bridge the gap between the events of the 2015 RPG and the upcoming sequel, which will see Ciri take over Geralt as our main protagonist.
As we already know, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has already welcomed two DLCs since its launch: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, both of which were met with critical acclaim and praised for adding more lore and content to the already award-winning RPG. As such, it is no surprise that fans have always been eager for more, especially as there will be quite a large gap between the events of The Witcher 3 and The Witcher 4. Although this gap could obviously be explained throughout The Witcher 4, there is no denying that it would be a cool idea to release a third DLC which will explain it just as well.
