Elden Ring fans are having a great year so far, with several new projects to look forward to in the months ahead. FromSoftware's iconic franchise is getting an official new movie from Alex Garland and A24 Films, with recently leaked behind-the-scenes footage getting gamers hyped for what's to come when it releases in 2028. Further, the highly awaited Tarnished Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2 is still slated for a 2026 launch and could arrive any day now.

Further, gamers have been on high alert for a new announcement from FromSoftware regarding the untitled "FMC" project, which recently had a wave of unverified claims suggesting it could be a pirate-based game, though these supposed "leaks" are very unlikely to be true. All the same, the rumors have fans speculating about another new project aside from the upcoming release of The Duskbloods.
