On May 12, developer Embark Studios released another patch for ARC Raiders that includes a fix for the missing Skill Points issue. On May 11, reports emerged that many ARC Raiders players had not received the promised Skill Points after taking part in the Expedition event. Embark Studios quickly acknowledged the problem, and it now appears to have been resolved.
Typically, when an Expedition in ARC Raiders ends, players who have "departed," which is the in-game term for resetting an account, can receive up to five Skill Points. These points are used to improve a player's permanent stats across various areas of the game, including stamina and combat. Recently, ARC Raiders changed how departure Skill Points are acquired, tying them to the total damage players deal to ARC enemies. While the adjustment was generally viewed as positive, it sparked some controversy, prompting the developer to extend the third Expedition's duration. Shortly after, the game encountered another issue, this time involving missing rewards.
