A new Nintendo Switch 2 bundle has been announced, and those who purchase it will be able to choose between one of the three biggest games released for the system so far. The Nintendo Switch 2 launched last year, with both a standard version for $449 and a bundle with a download code for Mario Kart World priced at $499. The bundle was phased out in 2025, and Nintendo has since offered other software bundles in its place, including an option with Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

The price increase follows similar moves by PlayStation and Xbox, and is a result of negative market conditions. The worldwide RAM shortage, tariffs, and the war in Iran have all made things costlier for gaming companies. Nintendo raised the price of several products last year following the announcement of U.S. tariffs, with prices for Switch 2 peripherals increasing just days after they were first announced. The company had avoided raising the console price, but that will soon change.
