Absolum Finally Gets Cross-Play Support Across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC

It’s been a long time coming, but Dotemu has officially confirmed via the Absolum Twitter account that cross-play is now live across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC versions of the game. Now players can finally team up with friends regardless of what platform they’re on, and that’s a big deal for a co-op-focused game like this.

Cross-play was one of the most requested features from day one. When Absolum launched back in October 2025, the omission was felt immediately by the community. Friends split across platforms had no clean way to play together, and while workarounds like Steam Remote Play existed, they were far from ideal. It was a gap that always felt at odds with a game built around cooperative brawling.

It’s better late than never, though, and with Xbox only having come to the party back in March, having full cross-play now means every platform is finally on equal footing.
