As Fallout fans, we have to wrestle with the fact that one of the most iconic video game series of all time is going to be on ice for a long time to come yet, despite the last main game in the series releasing all the way back in 2015. Bethesda is fully focused on finishing The Elder Scrolls VI for the time being, and though they do overlap projects, it would be a surprise to see another game in the franchise before 2030.
That means that we have to look elsewhere for our post-apocalyptic fix, and there are plenty of ways to do that. Whether it's by engaging with the older games and the extensive modding communities that come with them, or simply sitting down to watch the Prime Video show, all hope is not lost.
Now, another release is on the way that's officially licensed by the franchise, and it comes from one of the better Fallout adaptations of the last few years.
