Ubisoft has always been a leaky ship, but the leaks ahead of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced's confirmation seemingly doubled down on that, with new information now surfacing regarding Far Cry 7. Of course, as with all rumors and leaks, fans should take this with a grain of salt until Ubisoft officially comments on Far Cry 7. It's been nearly five years since FC6, however, so it wouldn't be surprising to learn it's in the works.
The source of this information is Rogue whose track record isn't spotless, but a handful of minor things grant them more credence than some, including a corroboration by AC Invictus leaker xJonathan (whose record isn't spotless either but does have a long history of leaking Assassin's Creed info). Beyond this, Rogue has also recently leaked new details on Assassin's Creed Hexe, including the protagonist's real name of Anika, the Wurzburg setting, and Ezio's return—among other things.
Ubisoft confirms it will keep a somewhat controversial feature from the original Assassin's Creed: Black Flag in the upcoming remake, Resynced.
