Pokemon Winds and Waves Releases Official Behind-the-Scenes Video

A new behind-the-scenes video has been released for Pokemon Winds and Waves, offering a special look at a recording for a piece of music from the games. Pokemon Winds and Waves represent the 10th generation of the franchise, serving as a direct follow-up to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This will also mark the first pair of mainline games exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, so those that have yet to upgrade from the original Switch will have to do so to play either game.

Music has played a pivotal role in the Pokemon franchise from the very beginning, and the developers have enlisted some top-tier talent to bring life to the games over the last three decades. Pokemon's ninth generation in particular featured a mix of franchise favorites like Junichi Masuda and Go Ichinose, alongside some surprising additional composers. Ed Sheeran wrote a song for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and Undertale creator Toby Fox was also enlisted.
