007 First Light has gone gold, signaling that the upcoming action-adventure game is ready to ship. Development is largely complete, and while that does not rule out things like a day one patch, it does mean 007 First Light is being prepared to go out into the world.
At this point, any further delays to 007 First Light are unlikely. It's not impossible for a game to be delayed after going gold, or the announcement of it going gold at least, with Cyberpunk 2077 being a prime example. When and if that happens, it's not usually a good sign, but generally speaking, this is good news. It means we're getting closer to 007 First Light's release date of May 27.
IO Interactive shares another PC spec update for 007 First Light, this time with some added requirements for playing at resolutions beyond 1080p.
