While we're all waiting for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, there's been no shortage of FF7-related content. This includes both official releases and fan-made projects. Whether it's FF7 Rebirth arriving on Switch 2 next month, or a new look for Cloud in Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy, we've had plenty to tide us over until the next installment in the remake trilogy arrives, even if the wait feels like a long one.

Now, thanks to Final Fantasy 7: Heroes of Midgar, we have something additional to look forward to. The project, which is currently live on Kickstarter, will be the debut album of the Eikon String Quartet and focuses on the character themes of FF7. You can watch a video of the Nashville-based quartet playing the "Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII" below:

The quartet includes Lucia Nowik on violin, Francesca Bass on violin, Anthony Parce on viola, and Andrew Dunn on cello. The project is currently about 50% funded, with 23 days left to go to reach its $12,000 goal.
