Silent Hill f has scared up a major milestone. The Konami survival horror game has surpassed 2 million copies sold worldwide. This includes both physical and digital editions since its release on September 25th, 2025.
This is no small feat for a Silent Hill title that departed from the core location of the original games. Silent HIll f marks the first game set in Japan. It focuses on high schooler Hinako Shimizu and her friends. Instead of the haunted town of Silent Hill, they explore the haunted town of Ebisugaoka. It may not be the familiar village we know and love, but it’s still filled with fog and freaky figures.
Silent Hill f has received a number of accolades as well. It won three awards at the Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards last year, including the fan-voted award for Game of the Year. It also won four awards at IGN JAPAN GOTY last year. And it picked up multiple nominations at 2025 The Golden Joystick Awards and The Game Awards.

Silent Hill f isn’t the only game in the series to get some recent love. Silent Hill 2 Remake, which came out a year prior, has surpassed 6 million players....
