Regarded as one of the best and most influential video games of all time, not to mention being a majority favorite according to fans, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has found itself at the center of remake rumors for the past few months after multiple insiders and leaks have hinted at its arrival on the Nintendo Switch 2.

First released back in 1998 for the Nintendo 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time follows Link's journey as he explores the realm of Hyrule, embarking on a quest to put a stop to the exploits of the evil king Ganondorf. By traveling through time, and exploring dungeons both below and above ground, Link must play songs on his iconic ocarina in order to progress through the game's multiple levels.

Since its launch, Ocarina of Time has gone on to achieve critical acclaim and commercial success, even inspiring an enhanced version for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2011. However, with no official remake or even a modern-day remaster, fans are hoping that Nintendo will have an announcement for us later this year.
