If everything comes to fruition, the Star Wars franchise could have a huge few years ahead when it comes to video games. There are several major projects coming down the pipeline that really have got the fan base excited, with some entirely original releases, as well as others that take us back to some real high points of the past.
The most notable is probably Fate of the Old Republic, a hugely ambitious narrative-driven action RPG led by former Bioware director Casey Hudson. Outside of that, we also have Star Wars: Galactic Racer, which brings The Phantom Menace's pod racing back in a big way, as well as Quantic Dream's Star Wars: Eclipse, and the Knights of the Old Republic Remake.
If those games all turn out as we hope, it's going to be a brilliant few years, but if you're looking for something to do in the meantime, there's still plenty of fun to be had with the games we already have.
