LEGO and Nintendo collaborations have become commonplace over the last few years, and another major Nintendo theme is now joining the party. So far, the toy company has released sets based on Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing, and Pokémon, along with a couple of sets recreating classic Nintendo console hardware.
Unsurprisingly, these themes have seen plenty of success so far, so it doesn't look like the collaborations will be slowing down any time soon. The next up to the plate isn't totally new to the LEGO world, but it's the first time an iconic character will be getting a theme of his own.
Today, the official LEGO Instagram account teased the release of one or more Donkey Kong sets in the future. The reveal video pairs the LEGO and Donkey Kong logos with a short clip of a LEGO Donkey Kong barrel rolling across the screen. In the caption, LEGO states "There's plenty more where this came from!", suggesting that an entire range of sets might be on its way.
