It’s been a few months now since Raiders of Blackveil entered early access, but right when one might be tempted to think that its maker, Wombo Games, had gotten a little comfortable, it drops the game’s first big content update. This isn’t just a couple of maps and weapons either, but an overall upgrade to just about everything.
The centerpiece of this free new update for Raiders of Blackveil is a new biome, known as the Ghoulag, but it’s hardly the only content coming to the game. As they explore this new zone, players will also encounter new enemies, new gear and even a new mini-boss, along with updates to the perk system. Even more significantly, offline play is now finally an option.
Evil megacorp that it is, Blackveil has not, it turns out, just been sitting back as the rebel raids intensify. The Ghoulag is, in fact, a Blackveil interrogation site purpose-built for gathering intelligence about its enemies.
