The release of Grand Theft Auto VI has become such an enormous thing that it really is difficult to quantify just what it's going to be like when it lands. The currently scheduled arrival date of November means that the game is actually closer than it has ever been, and that reality is really starting to hit home for those who are desperate to play it.
Yesterday's Take-Two earnings call went by without a hitch, as CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed that Rockstar is still on course to deliver the game before the end of the year. Though there could be a short pushback of a week or more, the days of half year delays are seemingly behind us.
One thing that definitely hasn't happened yet, though, is members of the public getting to play it and see what it's like, but that hasn't stopped at least one of them delivering their verdict anyway.
