Elden Ring’s New Classes Have Gamers Split Over Official DLC

Elden Ring is one of the best games of the last decade or more, as FromSoftware's unique formula met true open-world RPG gameplay in what ended up being quite a heady concoction. Since its initial release, we've had an equally good DLC, and a bunch of other releases around the game that really means it lives rent-free in the public consciousness.

One of those releases is the Tarnished Edition of the game, an all-in-one package that includes the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, as well as a bunch of other additions. Exclusive to the Switch 2, it looks like an impressive package, but fans aren't exactly sure what to think about one of its most notable changes.

Over on Reddit, one user shared a post detailing how the Tarnished Edition of Elden Ring will add two new classes to proceedings, tentatively known as the Knight of Ides and Heavy Armored Knight. They come with their own new armor sets and potential weapon setups, and fans have been speculating on exactly what it's all going to be like after they drop.
