The issue with services like PlayStation Plus is that they both give and take away, with games in the catalog never really in your possession in any real, meaningful way. It's still a broad and impressive offering, despite the recent price increases, and there are hundreds of hours of fun to be had, regardless of which genre you happen to be a fan of.

The games for Essential subscribers for May have already been confirmed, and there are some stellar titles in the selection, including EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols. At the same time, Extra and Premium subscribers can now get hold of great games like Star Wars: Outlaws and The Thaumaturge.

As you might be expecting though, the usual cost must be paid, and we pretty much know which games will be leaving next month.

Over on Reddit, one user shared a post from the Japanese PlayStation store, which seemingly confirms that the original Red Dead Redemption will be removed from PS Plus, alongside LEGO The Incredibles, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition, and We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie.
