The Legend of Zelda is having a pretty decent 40th anniversary so far, thanks to the efforts of Nintendo and series fans. While we're waiting to hear more about the leaked Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, which would be the feather in the year's cap, many other official releases have been scattered throughout 2026.

The most notable release is easily the LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time set, which is hopefully setting the stage for the upcoming remake. There's also an official vinyl set coming for Breath of the Wild, featuring tons of tracks from the game. The year isn't over yet, so we could get more official announcements at any point.

Before another official reveal, though, The Legend of Zelda fans are once again answering the call. Over on Kickstarter, there's a pretty big project worth a look for The Legend of Zelda fans.

Aiming for a September 2026 delivery, the Bitshift: The Cartridge of Time Kickstarter just hit its goal. Described as a Zelda tribute album, it covers two games from the series: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
