This year is quite a big one for The Legend of Zelda, with the beloved franchise celebrating its 40th birthday and fans waiting in the wings to see exactly what Nintendo is going to do to mark the occasion. The best bet right now is the Ocarina of Time remake, with the rumors around that given further credence by the fact that the leaker also confirmed Star Fox at the same time, and that game is now a reality.

At the same time, the movie is progressing through production smoothly, and there's still the faint hope that we might get an announcement for the first Switch 2 native Zelda release.
