Final Fantasy 6 Remake Leaves Gamers Divided

The Final Fantasy franchise is very much enjoying a renaissance thanks to the return of old games via remakes and remasters. Final Fantasy VII is obviously the big one right now, with the final part of that set to release at some point next year, if all continues as smoothly as planned.

Once that concludes, it inevitably won't take too long for fans to want to go on another epic adventure, so which game Square Enix plans to remake next is obviously on everyone's minds. Now, one potential target has emerged, and the community really has no idea how to feel about it at all.

In case you missed it, FFVII Remake series director Naoki Hamaguchi spoke to GamerBraves (via GamesRadar+) on YouTube, where he brought up the topic of a Final Fantasy VI remake, and who should lead the project if it does enter production.
